It's happening.
After years of making this for family, for friends, for anyone who would sit still long enough to try it, Charlie's Pickles is officially launching in Europe on the 31st of August, 2026.
The first production run is happening. Jars are being filled. They're stacking up in our kitchen right now, looking exactly as good as they taste.
We started with a recipe that has been in the family since 1960. A spiced fish pickle from an Asian kitchen that somehow made its way to Amsterdam and never quite let go of us. Every time we served it, the reaction was the same:
What is this? Why haven't I tasted this before? Where can I get it?
So we decide to answer all these questions.
Pre-orders are open now. The first jars will ship from August 31st. And if you're one of the people who ordered early, thank you. Genuinely. You believed in this before there was anything to believe in except a jar filled with saltfish padda and a story.
There's a lot more coming. More products, more recipes, more of the story behind Charlie and the kitchen this all started in.
